I dig sci-fi and fantasy movies like Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, etc. Most computer people do--it's part of the schtick. However, what bothers me to no end is when there's a movie like this and someone is giving his watercooler review of the movie and says "and then they fly away, and physics doesn't work like that." Hellllloooo!? Umm, the whole thing is a fabrication and the laws of physics certainly will be broken by the writers if they take that much freedom with reality to begin with. To be upset about a tiny subset of the premise is, well, beatdown worthy and just plain dumb.
