I have some neighbors up the street who are idiots. Nice people, but idiots. They fail to recognize, yet again, that when they put out the weekly recycling items that an empty 1-gallon plastic milk jug has basically no weight, and a 1.5 mph breeze will blissfully push this plastic container down the street. Perhaps it's a science experiment as this week they attempted to join three of them in unholy alliance in an effort to increase their mass to overcome wind. So now there are three of them running around the neighborhood as today's breeze is well over 5 mph, exceeding the strength that even the most sturdy of plastic jug could not battle. The failure of my neighbors to recognize this simple cause-and-effect of fundamental physics is clear indications they deserve yet another beatdown.
