DRM, or Digital Rights Management, in beatdown definition: technology that basically prevents people from taking content they have and using it where they want. It's more of a "rights removal" technology, not a "right granting" tech. I just love how Sony sells this, putting tons of lipstick on the pig. "With MagicGate technology!" (Rule of thumb, anything ending in "Gate" isn't good ... Watergate, Irangate....). Umm, why is this a feature to promote? I put my stuff on the card and if it's a certain type of content, it's not allowed to come off? It's insulting to try to sell something that ties a customers hands as a feature. If you do that sort of crap, you deserve a beatdown.
