Road construction is always a bear, and it's tough that the roads that always need the most attention are the same roads that everyone needs to drive over at all hours of the day. Thanks to J.R., though, we have the following observation: If you decide to do the road stripe painting during rush hour, you've missed the short bus. Lack of planning creates a huge slowdown in traffic, and increases the odds of an accident seven-fold. If you're the dolt who approved the traffic cones and paint machine on the road in a metropolitan area at 4:45 p.m., you deserve to have yellow paint sprayed in your eyes and every motorist stuck in that traffic line a shot at kicking you in your knees.
