Movie Theatre Beatdown #1: Last night we went to see the Manchurian Candidate. It was a fairly full house. Besides the obvious beatdown of bringing a child to a rated R movie, the parents of the 4 year old who was there deserve to be drug from the movie theater, force fed popcorn in any available (and unavailable, for that matter) orafice. During a rather brutal scene where one guy strangles another guy to death including the victim tossing cookies, the 4 year old was screaming out loud (expectedly). Any parent who puts their kid through that in the name of their own entertainment deserves a visit from social services.
