Movie Theater Beatdown #4: I'm boycotting Bacardi Silver. You should too. I recently saw Collateral, the Tom Cruise/Jamie Foxx movie directed by Michael Mann. I love Michael Mann films--Heat is still a classic in my mind, and frankly I miss seasons #1 and #2 of Miami Vice. However, this movie was so blatantly full of Bacardi Silver product placements, I think total time on the screen was over 10 minutes, with several shots of just the damn banner on top of a taxicab. This is ridiculous. I'm not drinking this stuff, I'm breaking the bottles now. And I used to like it.
