Thanks to a ping from our good buddy VarQ, if your product requires dismantling in order to look up the serial number for service, you deserve a beatdown. The item in question he brought up was an Abit motherboard that kept the serial number on a sticker on the underside of the board, requiring you to pull the entire motherboard from the case if you needed the number. Nice. There's other examples out there, too. And don't anyone dare mention I should write this stuff down. It's already written down, on the wrong flippin' side of the motherboard!
