Under no circumstances is anyone to use a brush to paint any major portion of an automobile. I'm not talking about fiberglass application, pin stripes, or touch-up paint, I'm talking about some high school kid who wants to add a touch of "class" to his ride by whipping out a 2" trim brush from Lowes and painting his front air dam, door handles, and bumper another color (Behr exterior latex semigloss no less!). Nothing looks worse, and the sloppy job it leaves is not better than whatever scratches were there in the first place. Use a spray can (better yet--leave it to a professional), or feel the wrath of a splintered paint brush shoved sideways in your mouth.
