The week before last I was at a California Pizza Kitchen in Maple Grove, MN. It's a pretty nice little restaruant and generally we've had good service. It just so happens this was the first cold spell snap of the season here in Minnesota, so it was a little chilly in the place. We sat down, and thankfully after a few minutes, the heat kicked in as it became considerably more comfortable. About 10 minutes later, the host/manager of the place and one of the servers was uncomfortable, and proceeded to open the door to the outside seating area and just stand there like dumb-ass-cattle letting a huge wind of cold blow over our table. I finally caught the blue-shirt-clad high school dope who was the host and said "can we keep the door shut please" and he gave me a dirty look. Asswipe. I'm thinking when it gets really cold out there should be someone waiting outside with a chunk of ice to drive this point home.
